robert-piwetzRobert Piwetz focuses his practice on litigation, primarily in the areas of aviation, commercial, personal injury, and railroad law. An experienced litigator, he has successfully tried numerous cases at both the state and federal levels, and regularly counsels large and small businesses on a wide variety of state, federal, and international matters. While in law school, Mr. Piwetz served as a clerk for the Honorable John D. Rainey of the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Texas, Victoria Division. Prior to joining Brown Dean in 2005, Mr. Piwetz worked at a boutique litigation firm in Victoria, Texas. Mr. Piwetz is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, Tarrant County Bar Association, and Fort Worth-Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association. He has been recognized by his peers and elected as a Fellow with the Texas Bar Foundation and Tarrant County Bar Foundation, as well as named a “Texas Rising Star” by Thomson Reuters and “Top Attorney” by Fort Worth, Texas Magazine.
Outside of work, Mr. Piwetz enjoys spending time with his son, Jack. He stays active in the community by volunteering with the Arts Council of Fort Worth and coaching youth sports, and has previously served on the Board of Directors for Ballet Concerto and American Cancer Society.
